Dungeon Splat · Last updated September 14, 2026

We do not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind, and we run no servers. Your scores reach Apple's Game Center only if you choose to post them. The game is fully playable offline.

What stays on your device

Your progress is saved locally on your device and is never sent to us. That includes:

Like all app data, it can be included in your own iCloud or computer backup of the device. Deleting the app deletes it from the device. We have no copy and no way to recover it.

Game Center

Dungeon Splat has Game Center leaderboards and achievements. Leaderboards are public: a score you post appears on a board that other players can see, next to your Game Center nickname and avatar. The boards are your deepest floor, your longest splat streak, the day's fastest Daily Dungeon time, and your splats for the day, the week and all time (Hero of the Day / Week / All Time).

Nothing is posted until you say so. The first time the game has a score to post it asks you, with "post my scores" and "keep them private" as equal choices, and holds the score until you answer. You can change your answer at any time in SETTINGS under GAME CENTER ("POST MY SCORES"); switching it off stops every further leaderboard upload.

Achievements work differently: while you are signed in to Game Center, an achievement you unlock is recorded on your own Game Center profile, whatever your POST MY SCORES answer. Game Center lets you control who can see your profile in the Settings app under Game Center. If you are not signed in, nothing is reported.

Scores and achievements go to Apple's Game Center service and are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We run no server of our own and never see your Apple Account, your real name, or any other personal detail. Game Center is optional: declining the sign-in, or keeping your scores private, does not limit the game in any way. The Daily Dungeon's in-game gold prize is paid from your rank on the day's board, so a private score also means no prize — that is the only thing you give up.

In-app purchases

Dungeon Splat offers optional in-app purchases for in-game gold and cosmetic items. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details, card number, or billing address — Apple handles the entire transaction and only tells the app whether a purchase succeeded.

The gold packs are consumable: Apple delivers each one once and the gold is added to your purse, which is saved on your device with the rest of your progress. Apple keeps the purchase record against your Apple Account. Because the packs are consumable, they cannot be restored once the app is deleted. Nothing about your purchases is stored on our servers, because we do not operate any servers.

Everything sold in Dungeon Splat is cosmetic or convenience only. There is no advertising, no energy timer, and no subscription.

Children

Dungeon Splat does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. In-app purchases can be restricted or disabled entirely using Apple's Screen Time and Ask to Buy controls.

Third parties

Dungeon Splat contains no third-party advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no social media SDKs. The only external service the app talks to is Apple's own Game Center and App Store infrastructure.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
