Sus Pop — Last updated: August 11, 2026
Sus Pop is a mobile color-perception puzzle game made by an independent developer. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains what data the app does (and does not) collect.
We do not collect or store any personal data on our own servers. We operate no servers and run no accounts.
Sus Pop does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or any third-party data collection services. The app does not require an account to play.
There is one exception, and it is important that you know about it: if you choose to, Sus Pop can upload your scores to Apple Game Center's public, global leaderboards, where other players can see them next to your Game Center nickname. This never happens unless you agree to it first. The app asks you, in plain language, before the first score would ever leave your device, and you can change your mind at any time. This is described in full under Game Center below.
Sus Pop saves your game progress and preferences locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). This includes:
hpHighestLevel)hpBestPop, hpBestBlitz)hpDailyBest, hpDailyDate, hpDailyStreak)hpLifetimePops, hpDaysPlayed)This on-device data is not accessible to us or to any third party. Unless you opt in to Game Center leaderboards as described below, none of it ever leaves your device.
Sus Pop supports Apple Game Center for achievements and leaderboards. Game Center is operated by Apple, not by us.
Sus Pop does not upload any score or achievement until you have explicitly agreed to it. The first time a score would otherwise be sent, the app stops and shows a full-screen prompt explaining that leaderboards are public and that your score would appear next to your Game Center nickname. It offers two equally weighted choices: Post my scores and Keep them private.
If you choose Keep them private, nothing is uploaded — then or ever — and the entire game remains fully playable. Your scores and progress are still saved on your device. If you close the prompt without answering, nothing is uploaded either.
If you choose Post my scores, the following are uploaded: your best Endless pop count, your best Blitz score, your highest level reached, and your best Daily Challenge score, along with any achievements you unlock. Uploaded scores are public: any other player who opens a leaderboard can see your score alongside the nickname and avatar you chose in Game Center. We never see your Apple Account, your real name, or your email address — only what Apple chooses to show on the leaderboard.
Your choice is never permanent. Open Settings inside Sus Pop and use the Post Scores to Leaderboards switch under Game Center to turn uploading on or off at any time. Turning it off stops all future uploads immediately.
You can also sign out of Game Center, or turn Game Center off for Sus Pop in the iOS Settings app under Game Center. If you are not signed in to Game Center, no score is ever uploaded regardless of your choice in the app. To remove scores you have already submitted, use the Game Center privacy controls in iOS Settings or contact Apple.
Once uploaded, this data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Sus Pop does not integrate any third-party advertising networks or analytics platforms. Game Center is the only external service, provided by Apple and governed by Apple's own privacy practices.
Sus Pop does not offer in-app purchases.
We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app contains no advertising, no chat, and no way for players to contact each other.
Parents should be aware that Game Center leaderboards are public: if a child is signed in to Game Center and agrees to the in-app prompt described above, their nickname and scores become visible to other players. Declining that prompt — or leaving the Post Scores to Leaderboards switch off in the app's Settings — keeps everything on the device. Game Center can also be disabled entirely for a device or a child's account through Screen Time in iOS Settings.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
